![]() ![]() ![]() My replacement shipped by FedEx today (10th) and is coming from IL. Since my replacement can't be stopped I have to wait around to refuse the new shipment. It did get delivered and I am grateful for that. That same day Ontrac tracking showed my package was out for delivery. I thought, great but my Pixel 6 Pro is out of stock and is waitlisted. They said I would be getting a replacement. Ontrac still shows no meaningful information on their tracking. Google emailed me on the 7th confirming my case was elevated and was awaiting a response from their shipping department. On the 6th, I contacted Google through their support chat and was told my case had been elevated. At this point I had sent multiple emails to Google but received no response back. Ontrac also said they would get back to me in 24 hours. Within 30 minutes Ontrac tracking showed my package was still in Ontario. Since I heard nothing from Google, I contacted Ontrac on the 3rd. They said they would get back to me in 24 hours. Late on the 1st my package was showing as delayed with no location (tracking is loaded with these terrible status messages) on Ontrac, so I opened a ticket with Google. Mine was shipped from Google in CA on the 25th. One positive possible outcome is that she said if you can get google to authorize a pick up, then a pick up at the warehouse is doable. Not a nice lady, so I told her "I don't want to call anyone, but when the package is constantly delayed, and you can't even tell me where the package is sometimes, and when even now you cant give me a delivery date, Im forced to call." So I called ontrac again, they're still saying its in the warehouse, she then proceeded to tell me that I dont have to call google cause the package is with them. I am on the phone with Google Fi now, going to see if I can have them just send me another phone with a different carrier and cancel the current one.Įdit: Google says its marked as delivered on their end even after I had them reconfirm the tracking number, and my ontrac system still says delayed though. Pretty sure nobody is gonna read that message though because that's a similar response I got earlier in the week, and I heard nothing back. Just called ontrac, CS person sent a message to the Seattle warehouse, which is where he says it still is. BTW, I have a feeling all there reddit threads and Twitter conversations as well as calling customer support did help push things through, althought its too bad we even had to go that route. I feel for the folks that have their package "missing", what a nightmare, especially when everyone is so excited for their new phone to arrive. They could of shipped it earlier or done a wide variety of other things. Regardless, it seems crappy of Google to deliver the pre-orders from their fans after the product is actually launched in stores. Even so, I really think Google needs to work on their distribution logistics and who they work with.ĮDIT: Pixel was finally delivered. ![]() I persisted in asking more questions, but didn't get any satisfying answers, other than a few more hints that I should "contact OnTrac".ĮDIT: My order status (on OnTrac's website) was updated to "Out for delivery". And everyday the "updated delivery date" gets pushed back one more day.ĮDIT: When I contacted Google Fi, they basically told "once it's shipped, we recommend that you contact the shipping company". I got an email (from Google Fi) on 10/25 that my order was shipped, but every day since then the events on OnTrac get updated around 6pm and states "shipment delayed", with the city listed as Ontario, CA. ![]()
